What is A Market Analysis?

  • A document outlining potential search volumes, estimated CPC and other metrics based on the client’s desired location targeting and services/products to be advertised.
  • A Market Analysis can not be run for Display Campaign including Gmail Sponsored Promotions and Remarketing only focused campaigns, Google Shopping Campaigns (using a merchant centre).
  • Ideal for helping set expectations for the future managed campaign.
  • A Market Analysis is for when a client isn't running an Adwords campaign. Please do not request a Market Analysis if they are already running Adwords, as we will not be able to process the request. There is no benefit to a Market Analysis when a campaign is already live, in fact it can raise more questions than answers.
  • Please ensure that you do not submit a request for a Product/Service that is on Google restricted list especially for medical service/products, unless the proper requirements are already in place
  • A Market Analysis is a pre-sales tool, and not to be requested once a prospect has been Onboarded or secured as a client.

What will you need to carry out a Market Analysis

  • Your Prospects Website URL
  • A minimum of 5 keywords for the service/product to promote (we use 10) - we ask for this to get a better understanding of what your prospect wishes to advertise. Also at times there might be specific industry terminology we aren't aware of. Please ALWAYS add these, we don't expect them to be terms that return search volume.
  • The URL where the Adwords Ads would be directed
  • Your prospects budget (minimum $1,000 / £1,000 / 1,000Euro)
  • All services/products to be advertized
  • Location targeting in the form of a city, county, state or country. We can not target by radius or zipcode/postcode in the keyword planner (this is only possible in a live campaign). 
  • You MUST be a InvisiblePPC Partner before you can request a Market Analysis. If you are not please sign up here and try again once you have been through Orientation 

What Budget should I suggest?

  • The budget needs to be realistic for the number of services/products to be promoted
  • Our “Average Industry CPC” document, outlines the Cost-per-click for many services/products and what a minimum budget should be
  • Please ensure that you are realistic about what services or products your client can target with their budget.

What does the Market Analysis include?

Within the Market Analysis, we will include the following:

  • Average Cost Per Click (CPC)
  • 10 keywords relevant to the service or product
  • Estimated Cost Per Lead (CPL) for traffic directed to an IPPC landing page (10% conversion rate), the client’s website (3% conversion rate) or an eccommerce site (1.5% conversion rate)
  • Estimated number of visitors via the Ads
  • A maximum possible budget (where applicable)
  • An example ad for desktop & mobile
  • A Landing page/homepage evaluation 
  • Traffic by Device
  • General information on Adwords Campaigns, and remarketing campaigns
  • Information on tracking for conversions

How to set expectations?

  • We only use 10 keywords to create the proposal. Whereas in a live campaign there could have anywhere between 30-250 depending on the budget. Therefore, the CPL that we give within the Market Analysis is based on those 10 keywords. 
  • It is important to remember that within a live campaign that the results may vary. We can use to Keyword Planner Tool to generate ad groups and keyword ideas. It doesn’t guarantee improved performance.
  • The CPC may also vary in the live campaign, this information is just meant to be a general guide using Google Adwords Keyword Planner and other third party tools.
  • Site Visitors can vary from month to month as well, depending on search trends.
  • The Market Analysis is an estimate!
  • Occasionaly a Market Analysis might be reject. If you receive an email, rejecting your prospect, please review this help document.

How Long Will It Take?

  • 3 business days, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  •  If your request is received after 5pm, it will be counted as being received the following business day.
  • For example, if you send in your Market Analysis Request at 10pm on a Thursday, you will receive the report on the following Wednesday. 
  • Incomplete forms are unable to be processed. Please wait until you have all the necessary information prior to submitting the form.
  • We are not able to accommodate rush requests, please ensure you submit the request 3 business days ahead of time as outlined above. Alternatively, don't arrange a client follow up before this time, as a request may also be rejected.

What is an Audit?

  • An Audit is an analysis of a prospect's AdWords Account
  • AdWords Express accounts are not eligible for an audit due to lack of data and reporting. Please do not submit a request if you client is running an Adwords Express Account, as we will not be able to complete your request.
  • IPPC can execute audits of actively running AdWords accounts with spend of at least £1000 in the last 30 days.
  • Dormant accounts or ones that have limited spend will not be eligible for an
    audit due to lack of relevant data.
  • An Audit is a pre-sales tool and not to be used once a prospect has become a client.
  • If you have access so we can carry out an Audit, please do not request a Market Analysis as well. We can not provide both.

What will you need to carry out an Audit?

  • You MUST be a InvisiblePPC Partner before you can request an Audit. If you are not please sign up here and try again once you have been through orientation
  • Access to your MCC. We will send you a request if we don’t already have access.
  • Your prospects Adwords Account is in your MCC. Find help here 
  • Your MCC ID Number
  • Your Clients Adwords ID Number 
  • A minimum Adwords monthly spend of $/£1000 

What does An Audit Analysis include?

Audit results will vary based on the areas of opportunities present in each specific account. Not all audits will include every analysis. Analyses may include the review of the following:

  • Conversion tracking
  • Impression share
  • Geotargeting
  • Advanced location settings
  • Time of day/day of week performance
  • Ad extensions
  • Search query report
  • Keywords
  • Ads
  • Match Type
  • Landing Page
  • A Brief Account Strategy
  • Information on Tracking Conversions

How to set expectations?

  • The Audit is solely based on the current performance of the account.
  • It is meant to highlight areas that could be improved.
  • it will not give you a fully detailed account of how we will make changes and what we would do differently. 
  • It will not include information on how much we will improve the CPA/CPL or Conversion Rate by. This information can not be predicted in the most part and will only be realised once we take over management
  • There will not be details of the current market climate

How Long Will It Take?

  • 3 business days, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

  • If your client’s Adwords account isn’t in your MCC, then your report will be ready in 3 business days starting from when we have access
  • If you are unable to gain access to this prospects AdWords account, unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with an AdWords Audit. Instead, we will provide you with a Market Analysis report for your prospect that will give them a conservative estimate on what they can achieve with AdWords based off of the information you provide in this form.
  • We are not able to accommodate rush requests.
